Our No-Cost services include:
  • Program orientation to learn what we have to offer
  • Resume writing & dress for success workshop
  • Assistance looking for and applying for jobs online in our Resource Room
  • Clothes Closet in case you need attire for an interview or new job
  • Tutoring and educational support if needed
  • Use of our office equipment: fax machine, copier, computer and printer
  • Quarterly Career Fairs with a variety of employers

New Employee

Before you start...if you will work 30 hours a week or more we may be able to help pay for things like:

Our No-Cost services include:
  • Work related clothing and/or footwear
  • Gas voucher, puts gas in your tank before your first paycheck
  • Eye glasses or hearing aid, if needed
  • Employer required training
  • Drug testing or physical, if required
  • If you become one of our clients you will meet with a Case Manger to identify and eliminate any barriers to be successful
  • All you need to do is contact NyECC Career Connections BEFORE you start. We will handle the paperwork with your new employer

Our No-Cost services include:
  • We can help you find employees by posting openings locally and statewide
  • Take applications for you
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • In some cases a host a hiring event for your company
  • Some employers qualify for an On the Job Training 50% wage reimbursement program to employer
